  • Tener la Habilitación Lingüística en inglés o bien acreditar un nivel C1 de inglés.
  • No haber realizado la Modalidad Formativa 1 del Plan de Formación en Lengua Inglesa 2014 ni del Plan de Formación en Lengua Inglesa 2015.

  • Certificado del puesto de trabajo según las instrucciones.
  • El certificado oficial de Habilitación Lingüística en inglés de la D. G. de Recursos Humanos o el certificado que acredite su nivel C1 de inglés (indicado en las instrucciones), según el caso.

OBJETIVOS To explore in practical ways the materials and methodology appropriate to CLIL; To improve the participants’ command of English at word, sentence and discourse level; To improve oral fluency, refresh and increase general English levels; To consider the qualities and skills required by teachers involved in CLIL; To identify and explore key issues in the primary syllabus; To consider the modes of delivery and types of classroom interaction most appropriate to CLIL; To develop innovative ICT resources for the primary class; To enable participants to design content lesson plans which they will teach in English schools to British children; To enable participants to analyse, review, develop, design and create materials for classroom use in teaching content lessons in British Primary Schools; To prepare teaching materials for use in classes in Madrid; To further develop participants’ practical teaching skills; To expand and practice language resources needed to teach at Primary level; To build participants’ confidence in the professional use of English, especially in the classroom setting; To practise language needed to teach their specialist subjects in English; To introduce participants to general language used in the classroom where English is the medium of instruction and to specific strategies for classroom management in English; To share all teaching materials with colleagues to be made available to their colleagues at home; To enable participants to become reflective practitioners as teachers and to develop their critical thinking skills as classroom teachers; To become acquainted with the English education system and visit English Primary Schools.
METODOLOGÍA A wide range of learning approaches will be used on this programme. The strategies for learning and teaching will be appropriate to the content and aims of each of the strands in the programme and will include student-based or task-based methodology. The emphasis will be on dynamic and applied methodology based on communication and participation trying to increase students’ speaking time as much as possible.
EVALUACIÓN Degree of students’ engagement and interactions in discussions, readings and practical activities on “content issues”; Appraisal of a final task where participants, in small groups, will design and present to their colleagues a CLIL Teaching Unit in context, which will reflect most of the CLIL pedagogical principles, methodological strategies and quality measures learned during the course; Research Presentation; Grammatical Accuracy, Fluency and Pronunciation; Ability to Give Effective Instructions in English for the Purposes of Classroom Management; Knowledge of Subject Vocabulary; Ability to use Subject Vocabulary to Teach Content.
