DESCRIPCIÓN Curso de formación metodológica de dos semanas impartido por Trinity College con sesiones presenciales (30 horas)que se completa con un trabajo complementario de 20 horas.
DESTINATARIOS Personal docente de Educación Primaria, Educación Secundaria y Formación Profesional que preste servicios en centros públicos bilingües de la Comunidad de Madrid y que estén en posesión de la habilitación lingüística para impartir docencia en puestos bilingües o especialistas, acreditados o no para impartir el curriculo de inglés avanzado o que puedan acreditar un nivel B2 de inglés.
PRIORIDADES 1- Solicitantes que no hayan participado en los cursos PI02 - SI02 - FI02 del PFLE2016.
DOCUMENTACIÓN - Certificado del puesto de trabajo.
- Documento que certifica nivel B2 en su caso.
DURACIÓN Dos semanas de sesiones presenciales (30 horas) que se completa con un trabajo complementario de 20 horas.

CONTENIDOS -Project work methodology: design and evaluation criteria.
-Storytelling and story-based projects with young learners.
-Design of cross-curricular units, including accommodations for students with special educational needs.
-EdTools and how to exploit student-generated materials.
-Receptive skills work: how can we exploit texts?
-Practical ways to foster creativity.
-Working with language assistants.
-English as a lingua franca: implications for the CLIL classroom
-Telling Tales: pausing, sentence stress and meaning in CLIL teacher talk.
-Make no mistake: dealing with learner error in CLIL.
-Did you hear what I said? Helping the second language listener.
-Teaching and learning vocabulary.
-Impact of external evaluation in the teaching and learning process.

OBJETIVOS -To offer teachers a theoretical framework of the principles of second language acquisition.
-To give practical suggestions on how to create, analyse and evaluate classroom activities, language use and language development.
-To give practical suggestions on what techniques to use when dealing with students with special educational needs in the ELT classroom.
-To share useful activities in order to become aware of available resources for teaching and learning English in primary.
-To share useful activities in order to become aware of available resources for teaching and learning content through English.
-Improve English language proficiency especially oral skills.
-To introduce the concept of English as a lingua franca and its implications.
-To introduce and practice the concepts of tonicity, tone unit and tonic stress as key to the creation of the message in spoken English elements.
-Examine the causes and possible classifications of errors of the students in English.
-Develop a consistent answer to errors in CLIL students.
-Review processes and micro-processes that contribute to oral comprehension in a second language.
-Examine the processes that facilitate learning vocabulary in a second language.

CRITERIOS EVALUACIÓN Asistencia y aprovechamiento en las sesiones presenciales y presentación del trabajo complementario (en formato digital).
