DESCRIPCIÓN Course designed to provide teachers with the background they need to support science with literacy (science talk, science reading and science writing) in order to deepen student understanding of science concepts as well as enhance literacy skills.
DESTINATARIOS Personal docente de Educación Secundaria, que preste servicios en centros públicos bilingües de la Comunidad de Madrid y que estén en posesión de la habilitación lingüísitica para impartir docencia en puestos bilingües.

CONTENIDOS -Strategies that can be used to support science with literacy (science talk, science reading and science writing)
-Instructional techniques (face-to-face learning, readings, video analysis, hands on exploration, online learning)that can be used to become familiar with the ways that science talk, reading, writing, and technology can support science
OBJETIVOS To explore:
• How talk, reading, writing and technology can support inquiry science
• How to craft effective focus questions to support inquiry science
• How to create and implement lessons to support science with talk, reading, writing and
technology
• Support inquiry science with literacy
• Make connections between literacy teaching and inquiry science teaching
• Use an online learning platform
